Technology

Over the years, David has been an innovator in the use of technology and electronic devices to improve the mediation experience. These include:

StaleMate

A proprietary piece of software, designed exclusively by David, to try and help parties “re-start” negotiations after what might seem like a hopeless impasse.

All-In Breakout Calculator

A proprietary piece of software, designed exclusively by David, that helps to quickly calculate how much of an all-inclusive monetary payment will end up in the hands of the receiving party, once all fees, etc are paid.

Uploading Capabilities

Secure login provided to all parties, to upload and download material for their mediation: such as the parties’ Statement of Issues, and their key supporting documentation.

Helpful Calculators

David provides users with five very helpful calculators: an All-Inclusive Breakout Calculator to help claimants and their lawyers quickly determine how much the claimant will pay in legal fees and how much the claimant will "take home" from an all-inclusive settlement offer, allowing for quick assessment of different scenarios; a Prejudgment Interest Calculator to help the parties determine how much pre-judgment interest is owing on non-pecuniary and pecuniary damages, in automobile and non-automobile cases; a Judgment Updater Calculator to assist the parties in calculating the present value of historical damage awards; a Days-Between Calculator to quickly determine the number of years, months, weeks, bi-weeks and days between two dates; and a Pierringer Payout Calculator to provide a breakdown of what a non-settling defendant will owe after other defendants entered into a partial settlement with the claimant.

Paging

When you need to speak to David, all you need to do is press a button – gone are the days wandering around trying to find your mediator, especially in large complexes.

30 Day Automated Reminders

Timelines creep-up on everyone: with great ease.  Regrettably, internal reminders are often ignored or overlooked because they typically come bundled together in a flurry of other reminders produced by your internal system.  As such, it is often very helpful to have a reminder from an outside source because it stands out.  Regardless, the more reminders the better.  At 360Mediations we send out a reminder approximately thirty (30) days before your mediation, with a list of things to consider in the final phases prior to your mediation: once you set aside a few minutes to give consideration to those matters, you are apt to be very well prepared for your upcoming mediation.

Printing

When the location for the mediation does not provide printing services, you will have no worries: David brings a portable printer with him to these types of venues so that the parties can sign types closing documentation, such as Minutes of Settlement or releases, etc.

Video Conferencing

When distance proves to be a problem, David can conduct certain mediations via a video platform such as Skype, GoTo Meeting or Zoom.
